Heartbreaking loss for many of us. Ady, a former UAEMer and fierce advocate for all of us, will be incredibly missed. Read this post by @BeaHero to understand his impact:

Unacceptable that an independent @Europarl_EN study on access to medicines is removed after @EPPGroup MEPS pressure to stop its publication as they don't like its pharma critical conclusions. MEPS should debate in public, not stop researchers from publishing. @EP_ScienceTech

The #airpollution scorecard is out! With 7 million premature deaths annually associated with air pollution, it is imperative this, and related actions, is reflected in #NDCs 🌫🫁 @DrMariaNeira @cickatja @DrTedros @MarinaMaiero Proud of team @JessicaBeagley @JMattijsen @paniblanca

Very glad to see this out in the world, with huge thanks to @paniblanca, @blom_iris and @CleanAirFund for making it possible. We tracked 170 national climate commitments (NDCs) to see which countries are making the links between clean air and climate action.

Still a lot of work remains to be done

Last year, there was exactly 1 non-youth participant in the youth session of WHS. This time around the number has increased to ~20. And yes, the returning customer from 2022 is championing us again! 😉 Progress in terms of numbers? Yes. Progress in terms of #MAYE? To be seen 🔍

Infuriating that at #WHS2023 talk, Aspen pharma says the experience of South Africa shows "Voluntary licence agreements work", defends intellectual property. The gov of South Africa are calling for reform to the global IP system BECAUSE the experience of COVID was so unjust.
