People will literally try to tell you that this is a bad play call instead of a bad read, a bad route, and an AWFUL throw. A Rod has plenty of things to criticize him for (conservative, 3rd downs), this play isnt one of them, he called a play and had a dude wide open for a TD🤷🏼♂️
Right. He’s the asinine play caller telling a QB who has tried that exact pass 3 previous times with the result of: tipped almost INT, INT, INT, to try it again instead of handing the ball to your RB averaging 6+ yards a carry on the drive on 1st&goal with 5 yards to go
People clamoring for Arod to be fired just don’t know ball. Execution was the issue, not the play calling imo. I’d put more blame on Jake tonight, I think this was his 2nd worst performance of the season (SMU)

My thoughts on Wilson: he is not seeing the field well and definitely is not ready for this level. But you don’t deserve him when he’s good if you don’t ride and die with him when he’s bad and still developing. He will get there. So happy we didn’t give up on Jake

I had a linsfranc injury last year in my turkey bowl and the doctor told me the WORST thing to do is to keep trying to walk on it…could easily hurt it more…I get rose wanting to play but the coaching staff should be held liable for risking a kids health like that.

It’s in the best interest of BYU for CO to keep winning. If that is a top 10 matchup in the CCG, a close loss might still keep the loser in, and give the B12 2 teams in the playoff.
