Now THIS is a brilliant take. Matt is the drummer that keeps the band in business and healthy. Jack was the drummer that helped them cross the bridge out of a troubled era. Dave was the drummer that captured the tension and danger of their most vital musical period.
Generally this is the correct take. More nuanced take is that each drummer is what the band needed at that time period. Without Jack there is no PJ past 95 and without Matt there is no PJ past 98.

Where were all these 17 million fans when Liam and Noel were playing solo. They both did Oasis songs. Liam even played DM in full. I went to 2 nights. And people complaining about others seeing Oasis more than 1 night.
