The stress that accompanies giving up my plan period is nearly equal to the stress I experience when I have to miss work and know that others will be covering for me. The guilt has forced me to come to school even when I should have stayed home.

Pattern Blocks in the Free Little Art Gallery in San Diego
If only they'd made the call just 30 minutes sooner.. we could have at least said our goodbyes in person 😔 I heard from several kids immediately and they're so sad.. what a heartbreaking end to an intensely challenging year.
