The House Labor Committee has reported out SB 964 and HB 5594 to the House Floor, setting the stage for the bills to cross the finish line during lame duck. Good news for principals and #miched!

House Labor Cmte taking up SB 964 & HB 5594 to shift responsibility for work permits off the principal’s desk to the MI Dept of Labor & Economic Opportunity. This move is better for students, schools. MASSP supports & is pushing to get these bills passed during lame duck. #miched
