You may have missed that just 19 TDs opposed giving €99m to #greyhound & horseracing industry that mistreats animals & survives on subsidy. The TDs who shamefully voted for are: FF, FG, Green Party, Aontu, some independents, some Labour & all of Sinn Fein.
Just 19 TDs opposing giving €100 million to the horse and greyhound racing industry for next year. Since I came into the Dáil, €1 billion has been handed over. €6 million is spent on animal welfare annually! It really shows their priorities.

Oil beetles are endangered, and part of this is due to eating dog poop. Dogs are given worming tablets, and these don’t just kill worms, they kill the oil beetles who eat it. I saw 50 dead or dying beetles today. Leaving dog poo behind isn’t just gross, it’s ecocide:

This is horse shit. Ireland has always been intolerant of dogs in public places, on public transport, in restaurants, and always stood in stark contrast to the continent. Still, if you are islamaphobic, you will find a way to incorporate it into everything you see around you.
