There are alternatives to simply moving Leaving Cert English Paper 1 to Fifth Year. The INOTE Chairperson, @conorsmurf, makes a suggestion in his opinion piece that would preserve the benefits of P1 for students. #EdChatIE It can be read, in full, here: inote.ie/index.php/inot…

Help needed🙏🏻 It appears cycling across a continent is too high risk to insure. Add in a cardiac pacemaker to the mix and they won’t even speak to me. Hitting a brick wall with insurance companies. If anyone out there knows of any insurance companies or anyone who can help🙏🏻

Fella told me auld lad once that diesel prices doesn’t affect him because he buys €20 every time and it’s always €20

For EVERY litre of #PetrolPrice the government takes approximately SIXTY cent in Excise Duty. If they WANT to make things easier, they can, at the stroke of a pen. It’s a straightforward CHOICE.. “help people or don’t”… #CostOfLivingCrisis

This interview is why the #TommyTiernanShow is head & shoulders above any other chat show. Tommy has let this woman just tell her story, gave her the time to go through the motions while he just listened with a tear in his eye. He just knows when to ask questions &when to listen

These curfews, demands for documents, treating people like they are privileged to enjoy the basic freedoms of life must come to an end. There is no justification at this point for these restrictions of basic liberties and freedom.

Grafton Street as soon as the pubs in the City Centre shut at 8pm 👀 The 8pm curfew should be lifted immediately, this is ridiculous

If Helen McEntee wants to do something about violence against women she could start by sacking the judge who allowed 2 men out on €200 bail for beating and kicking a 17 year old girl to a point where she could lose her eye. @RTENewsAtOne

If you really want to frame the ASTI as the bad guys in todays talks because schools open in less than 48 hours, just remember that Norma Foley: 1) Misled the public on test positivity in schools 2) Walked out of a pre Xmas Dáil debate on school safety after 30 minutes

Lauryn Lenchh Reposted

A huge relief ASTI have represented us well with such measured words. Pathetic, not shocking, that members of government have left principals, teachers, SNAs, students & parents high & dry, anxiously awaiting the result of Tuesday's meeting. We are people, NOT "stakeholders"!

Begrudgers of the Irish language again thinking just because they had a shit time in school, we should just dismantle the language. I failed chemistry in school and ya don’t see me going around smashing up research labs because of it.
