We took a sabbatical and now we’re back. Starting back up with Chef (2014)- real feel good movie with a very fun and recognizable cast. Wasn’t too long and kept the story light, but still making you feel for the characters (🥺👉👈). 8.7/10

Miss us anyone?

The Martian (2015): Coming out of retirement for this one. Real feel good movie, Matt Damon makes space seem fun and the comedic relief breaks the science down so you can understand it in this movie. Also has a great soundtrack. Jessica Chastain please call me. 9.0/10

Inception, Dunkirk, insomnia. Without hesitation.

Kangaroo Jack(2003): Classic movie from childhood and a rush of serotonin for any 90s baby. Kangaroo Jack defined how I’ll envision Australia for my entire life. Everyone should have this on vhs to show their kids one day. Friendship, kangaroos, and the outback. 8.7/10

“It means she got a bun in her oven that’s not your recipe!”

Inception, once upon a time, titanic

Thoughts?

The outpost (2019): bad one. Top 3 worst movies I’ve seen I can’t imagine dying in Afghanistan and having this dumpster fire made in my memory. Hollywood really missed the mark on this one, ruined July 4th. 4/10

Super 8 (2011): certified slapper. Best sci-fi movie I’ve seen in a long time, even more impressive with a cast of mostly children. Can’t believe it’s taken 9 years to get around to this one. Highly recommend we be nice to aliens. 8.9/10

V for Vendetta (2005): Pretty convenient this gem shows up on Netflix during times such as these. A classic I remember watching on FX as a kid, it infuriates you and makes you want to riot. Natalie Portman w a buzzcut is still hot. A movie everyone should see. Rating: 8.3/10

Den of thieves (2018): A movie with a huge twist. Lots of star power with Ice Cubes son to 50 cent and MMA stars. Tough cops trying to take out the bass guys but looking in the wrong end. 8.2/10

A24 Robert Pattinson movies are always a must watch

Black Sea (2015): great story. Great actors. Awesome mission. Sad ending. Worth the watch 8.5/10

Who is the best player in college football history to wear No. 5? 🤔

Extraction (2020): Ovi is the motherfucking dude! Appeared like another decent Netflix movie at first but turned into much more. Great action, super realistic, some of Thor’s best acting, and a heartwarming backstory to why this job is so important to Him. Rating: 8.4/10

We also take requests from fans if interested

Ex Machina (2014): interesting story of how the robots are going to take over the world. A scientist gets a robot to use feelings and emotions to try and convince a lab rat to set her free. Couch locked movie club rating 7.6/10

Molly’s Game(2017): pretty interesting if you’re a poker fan. Or a Jessica Chastain fan. And if you’re not you will be by the end of this one. Jessica please marry me. 7.7/10
