Everyday I question why I thought college would be a good thing
Everyday is a constant cycle of: “I have so much work to do.” “This class is killing me.” “Why did I sign up for this major?” “I just want to quit.” “I’m glad the day is over.”
I know stephenville’s dirt cheap isn’t as good as it used to be, but i just walked out of there with all of these throw pillows for $8.66 sooooo i’m not complaining🤷🏼♀️

At the point in the semester where I have no idea what I’m even supposed to be doing for assignments and turning them in based on sheer luck...

I procrastinate to clean until I need to clean to procrastinate.
If only society treated one another the way college students treat each other on discussion board replies..
Truths that hit hard today: 1. I was robbed of my childhood, and that’s not ok 2. I am not responsible for the people in my life who are grown adults 3. I had no control of my life as a child, BUT I do have control of myself and how things affect me. 4. GOD NEVER LEFT ME
I think it’s important to note that when we pray for something, also pray for understanding. Not everything we pray for is God’s will. There are times He will say “no” or “not yet.” Pray for understanding. Pray for acceptance of His will even if it’s not what you want.

We shouldn’t think lower or higher of ourselves than we ought. We’re image bearers of God, but we’re not God. We shouldn’t hate ourselves or love ourselves before our Creator. What love can we have for anyone if we do not first receive and revere His love for us? God is Love.
The best kind of therapy is that extra 30 minutes you spend sitting in the car just listening to music.
I’ve always been a tough cookie, and grew up hearing “if your not bleeding, puking, or dying then your ok”. And the fact that adults take an entire day off from work for JUST a migraine is mind-blowing....is that actually something you can do?
