Guys..🥺whatever you do.. please don’t vote for SWAPO..! I have a level 8 qualification and just recently approached our Grootfontein Municipality, in search of an unpaid volunteer or internship in my profession, HR told me they discontinued internship programs 6 years ago.. ⬇️

Dear @ECN How is it that I applied for your positions, but when a call was made to the head office, my ID apparently doesn’t appear? I wrote my name on a list on Friday, but those who wrote theirs yesterday were called today? I wasn’t! Concerned, unemployed youth, Grootfontein!

Countless incidences of nurses and health professionals that approached the MoHSS and/ hospital and clinics who just want to volunteer (without payment) are being turned away because 'the ministry stopped the volunteer program and may be resumed in the next financial year'.
