As we grow and as we understand more, as we meet people and as we hear different stories, what we can tolerate and what we can forgive changes. I do believe that life story work is never and should never be seen as one piece of work and in effect done ✔️

Both my personal and professional experiences teach me everyday that the term ‘life story work’ is not, and should never be viewed as being one piece of work (a life story book, later life letter) or even a planned piece of work that is carried out over a period of time….

I’ve listened to this conversation from Tuesday twice now. What a brave and safely held space by @_LisaCherry and @dr_treisman, reflecting on how everything can change when our health changes. It gave language to so many of my experience over the last few years. I am grateful 🙏

Sorry (not sorry) for sharing again - a reminder of why we do what we do.

I'll never forget my first Ofsted lesson observation, as an NQT, when they said I couldn't rely on this level of energy to engage and enthuse my class as it would diminish as I got older. I hope they get to watch this, 20 years later. 🤔
