Our new work published in Journal of Affective Disorders: Federated learning-based prediction of depression among adolescents across multiple districts in China. A large-scale psychological assessment of 583,405 middle and high school adolescents from 20 districts were included.

BERT is pre-trained on general text data and may not directly generalize to clinical text. Therefore, using BERT directly in clinical deployment is not advisable. Instead, fine-tuning or constructing clinical-specific large language models or visual language models is necessary.
