Today, the Fellows learned all about #discovery! They used #DesignThinking to work together to develop human-centric solutions to problems they learned about by interviewing local Scottish people at the V&A Design Museum in Dundee.

Great session today with this year’s accepted cohort of @GoGCI fellows. We were lucky enough to work with a brilliant group of students who were using #designthinking to tackle sustainability challenges with a global impact.

Loved running a session on #designthinking at the #AUA2022 this morning with @Jens2Jen Big thanks to all the participants who shared amazing ideas on how we could tackle some of the emerging challenges with our new ways of working.

Interesting opening plenary by James from @nmite_ac on designing institutions around access and participation, not adapting to it. #AUA2022

Great article by @Jens2Jen! Questions I have considered within my own practice of delivering change at UofG. Highlighting the importance of being responsive, accountable, and proactive to understand who our students are, and how they experience the institution #userexperience

I've written an article that you might be interested in: Who own’s the user experience? What I learned by focusing on a complex user lifecycle. linkedin.com/pulse/who-owns… via @LinkedIn #UserResearch #ServiceDesign #HigherEducation

📢The @UofGTransform team is hiring! We are looking for a User Researcher who could help us define the current and future user experience at the @UofGlasgow Apply online at lnkd.in/gapQR-K6 - Vacancy Ref 068150. If you have any questions please get in touch 👋

'Successful service design is much more than methodology'. Brilliant session by @BeattieMalcolmR on how we can operate in a messy and complex environment by understanding the Enabling Ecosystem. @iLab_NI #SDinGov

Thanks, @kellyanagram for sharing the Co-design Quick Test at @SDinGov this morning. Important questions we should be asking within all our projects; how we design with, not for. Ensuring we design with partners, not participants. Supporting, not leading. #SDinGov

Great session from @CharlotteEmilyM and @liamhawkes on design experiments - lots of great practical tips, particularly recognising when we are getting too ambitious. 'Are you trying to get early confidence in an idea or actually testing whether it works at scale?' #SDinGov

'When institutions lack the infrastructure to support people, we need to work on the deeper layers.' @cydharrell reminding us that to improve the design choices available, we have to consider the infrastructure and terrain. #SDinGov

Day 3 of our @UofGTransform team event - it's been a great few days of testing, iterating, and building on our change framework 💡 The feedback has been brilliant, with the #UserExperience always at the centre of what we do.

Henry is v happy with his delivery of @lilyskitchen treats from my lovely colleague @RoisReilly and Nora 🐶🦴
