For those of you who have requested lessons, I'm sorry I can't do much right now. Hopefully I'll be available after my wedding in 2 weeks!

At the start of each New Year we like to make resolutions. Maybe yours is to learn English? Complete this sentence: I resolve to ...

Have you ever wondered how people survived pre-Facebook? #primitive #private #preferable?

Thank you Mónica Peña Vargas, Julián Rodríguez López, Rebecca Achermann, Vanessa Kleinfelsnichtfrau, Hisham Abou... fb.me/3eopWPvan

There is also a difference in size. An ottoman (the American word) is bigger (surprise!), with space underneath for storage.

The previous picture was of a footstool. In the UK it is usually called a 'pouffe' (a French word). In the USA it is known as an 'ottoman'

Even an English teacher has to learn new words. What do you call this (you put your feet on it) in a) UK and b) USA? http://t.co/sHsNZfM0ku

Free crisps in Times Square? Yep, that's why I moved to New York fb.me/32MzbalvU

Friday Fun: Unbelievable! Make sure you get a good teacher. What's wrong with the sentence? http://t.co/VicnXphCwY

'Wonder' with an 'o' is to think, 'wander' with an 'a' is to walk

'I wonder' and 'I wander'. What's the difference?

My question is: 'so' and 'such' - which do we use for adjectives and which for nouns?

My teacher's so boring that I fell asleep in class. Your mum's so stupid that she went to the library to find Facebook.

'So' and 'such' are used with 'that' when something is bigger or greater than normal and has a consequence. For example ...

I wrote this with the photo album, but it's worth saying again. Thank you so much João Oliveira and Telma Santos!... fb.me/2DjfL3jfo

'Too' is used to show a problem. It does not mean 'very very'. "I am too big for these jeans" - I am a small man but the jeans are for kids.
