“I think I may pull out my halloween costume tomorrow and wear that. I need to protect you better this time.” He rested his head on his father’s shoulder and smiled.
He appreciates it. Raven seems like a pretty badass aunt.
Normally Draven would stay with him, but he has his own kids to check on... He may not be capable of sleeping, but he would enjoy the company.
Miles won’t be sleeping tonight. There’s a red monster around that knows his name.
“I’m fine.. I just would feel a lot better if you would lay down. Maybe we can both go lay down.” He won’t speak about what he did to the drawing on accident nor the fact that he was still very much afraid in hopes of keeping Draven calm and relaxed.
“...and who’s supposed to keep you safe? I could’ve helped you, dad.. I just got scared and froze..”
“You scared me earlier... I thought he was going to take you away from me... Now you’re running around as if nothing had happened..”
He shook his head before nuzzling into his father’s neck as he clung to him now. He won’t worry him about the burns. “I’m fine, dad. It’s you that I’m worried about! You shouldn’t be running around... You need to be resting.”
It’s a good thing Miles didn’t blow up the facility on accident. He would’ve hated recreating what happened to his parents.
Hearing heavy footsteps, the boy lifted his head to glance around until he spotted his father sprinting towards him and Vivian. “Dad!”
He clung to her, resting his head on her shoulder. After everything he was exhausted, but each time he closed his eyes he saw /it/.
“Okay...” Extending his arms up to her, he waits to be lifted.
A.M.U may be safe. But the haunting image and prints from Carnage lingered within the halls and the destroyed entrance. Draven clearly wasn't his priority anymore at this point. @lavcllan was.
“...Sure. But only because I have to wait to see dad.” He huffed as he slowly stood up.
“But what if...?” Miles pulled his hands away as he shook his head. “It was nothing... Just an accident..”
“...I-It’s not okay... What if he died?” Miles frowned as he opened his hands to look down at his wounded palms. “I want to see dad...”
