A very positive first meeting of the Parkinson's APPG (re-established following the election). This group brings together the MPs & Lords who will help us fight for better care & support for ppl with Parkinson's. Lots for us to do but feeling hopeful @ParkinsonsUK @ParkinsonsEN

Great to see many MPs and Lords from across @UKParliament at the first All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Parkinson's. The APPG heard from Katherine, a member of the Parkinson's community, about life with the condition and how they can take action in Westminster.

Together, we told MPs what people with Parkinson's need: Timely access to a full range of NHS professionals. A boost for Parkinson's research. Strengthened employment rights for a healthier working life.
