We are deeply saddened by the death of former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo. Abe was the longest serving Japanese Prime Minister in history and was one of the most important political figures of post-war Japan. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Abe family.

Under the leadership of party constitution panelchair Furuya Keiji (11-ind), the party launched its "awareness town meetings campaign". First stage,in Gifu, over the week-end. The plan is to have held similar gatherings in as many states as possible before the July election.
