To be clear, governments aren't giving fossil fuel companies "free money". They're giving them OUR hard-earned money. Our own governments are stealing from us to subsidize our own suicide. #EndFossilFuels #FastFairForever #ExtinctionRebellion

💰 In 2022 fossil fuel subsidies globally amounted to 7 TRILLION DOLLARS 💰 Meanwhile, oil companies have made record profits in the last two years. 💰 Governments must stop giving fossil fuel companies FREE MONEY! #EndFossilFuels #FastFairForever #ExtinctionRebellion

Did you know ? Africa currently receives only 20% of all climate adaptation finance flows globally, significantly short of the 5 to 10 times of the estimated $2.8 trillion through 2030 of additional financial resources required for it to effectively adapt to the climate crisis.

A reminder: the people in power don’t need conferences, treaties or agreements to start taking real climate action. They can start today. When enough people come together then change will come and we can achieve almost anything. So instead of looking for hope - start creating it.
