Endorsing this. Too many conference speakers think that the objective is to make themselves look clever. Wrong. The objective is to add value to the attendees by transferring your knowledge and ideas to them. And those attendees are more likely to be beginners than experts.
Don't be afraid to propose a talk on a beginner level topic, like "Intro to X". Many beginners enter our industry everyday and they also go to conferences to learn. You may be that one talk that changes their life. We all need beginner talks.
