Girl, it's okay to give up on a man who didn't even tried. It was never your responsibility to change him, to teach him how to become a man, to teach him basic human decency, to teach him how to love. You did what you could, you loved him & stayed, and that was always enough !!

Nobody talks about the angry stage of healing. The rage you feel when you realize how much and how long you were taken advantage of. The absolute disgust you feel towards those people that mislead you. It comes in waves. Sometimes you'll feel healed and then it suddenly hits you.
Nowadays you have to be ready to let people go and move on, even if it means never speaking to them again.
