i dream about yoongi coming back and releasing an album entirely in english with the same lyrics and meanings as d-day, d-2 + agust d your music, work, lyrics and reviews deserve greater recognition and reach beyond south korea who treated him like sh!t
namjoon's album rpwrp is not 100% in english but a large part of the lyrics are. this allowed him to reach more people in the rap scene which gave him more recognition. i honestly prefer it this way, without korean. the k-armys don't deserve it anyway.
i love bts's korean songs and all the meaning behind them, but i also like the group/members' english releases bc has allowed their work to reach more people beyond the army bubble like andy Samberg and akiva Schaffer. the recognition is greater, without the language barrier. 🙏
jungkook made a great choice to debut with his album in english, because it allowed his work to have a greater reach. i love him singing in korean and the whole meaning of the lyrics, but the language barrier prevents it from reaching more people besides army.
