Wooooow… all of the goals and visions I have set for myself are finally coming together. I continue to be patient, but my focus is on another level. 2022 is seriously my year. #imsoreadyforthis

GatsbyConf is coming up March 2nd and 3rd. Registration is free. I open the show on the 2nd at 8:30am Pacific. There will surely be plenty of Gatsbsy stuff, but I'll be doing a new talk on just generally how good the web has gotten. gatsbyconf.com

You don’t need permission to call yourself a software developer. You can safely remove the “future” and “aspiring” qualifiers. Do the thing (write the code) and say it with your chest. Start building confidence in yourself early in your journey.

Remember when you thought you needed everyone’s approval? Glad that season is over. Freedom looks good on you.

CodeSquad.org's 2022 cohort starts live classes tonight! After working through self-guided units where they learned about HTML, command line, Git, and GitHub, they'll do a night introducing them to web design before getting into basic CSS tomorrow.

I don’t care what technology skills you have. Web3, Python, JavaScript, front-end, backend, cyber, ... you name it. YOU are your most marketable asset. That is why it is so important to work on yourself more than your tech skills. That is why soft skills are so important.

Feeling so grateful to be teaching 40+ students around the world during my pilot run of my course. Without having to do much marketing! 2021 is going to be big year and I can’t wait to experience this journey some more.

After watching a bunch of morning shows that has a cooking segment since Covid. I realize that a lot of people don’t know how to use a knife and that makes me so nervous to watch.

Congrats to CodeSquad for your community impact in 2020! This year has been unpredictable and filled with ups and downs. But one thing has remained consistent, and that is the power of the MA tech community! 👏 #TechTop50
