1st graders are working in non-fiction reading and writing units and becoming experts on a variety of topics. Students went around campus to learn more from other experts making careful observations and asking questions about their roles . It was a fun way to celebrate curiosity!
Our 3rd, 4th and 5th Student Council students delivered the food collected from the Food Drive to the local Banc de Aliments. Thank you to all the families for your support! #ASB60th #Werasb
Today our 1st graders invited their parents to join their cozy morning of reading. Students read from their book bags the stories they wrote, and shared their small moment writing. #ASB60th #Werasb
How do you foster Story telling with your children? @ASBschool is honored to have @MaryEhrenworth and Christine Holly with us for our first ES parent chat of the school year.
Our ES parents ended last night's Open House by sharing some words of wisdom and inspiration on our graffiti wall for our Ss. A huge thank you to our teachers and families for a wonderful evening! @ASBschool
Our 5th graders decided to draw the flag from their home countries at afternoon recess today. Such a fun and spontaneous way to play and share a little bit about each other's culture. @ASBschool
Our Ss were so excited to see their self portraits curated in the entrance to the elementary school today! All day I had the privilege of listening to Ss admire and compliment each others work! #weareASB @ASBschool
Creating group resumes was a great way to learn about the collective skills, experience and interests of our new staff at @ASBelementary @ASBschool Thanks for the idea @elsadonohue
Two word check in after spending the day with our new elementary staff @ASBelementary @ASBschool- inspired and enthusiastic!

Teachers - as you set up your classrooms this year, consider these lovely "You Belong Here" posters welcoming all identities and made by @emilymeadowsorg My second graders loved reading the welcomes in their own languages last year! drive.google.com/drive/folders/…
This in an amazing group of teachers leaders who are grounded in their leadership purpose! #ptc2022
