More good news: The Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force, which Maryland joined in 2022, took action against One Eye, which helped push illegal robocalls to US consumers. One Eye is now banned from contacting Do Not Call numbers and the FCC ordered US providers to block One Eye.
Marylanders have had it with being roped into unwanted robocalls and texts from solicitors. That's why we're urging the FCC to clarify their proposed rules, which, in our opinion, don't go far enough to protect consumers from incessant calls and texts. marylandattorneygeneral.gov/press/2023/060…
