#OUSBB329Wk15 Power always brings resistance. This is important because as Foucault’s (1998, p. 95) states there is always the option to resist power though as explored in the week the consequences of this on a individual level might be unfavourable i.e. job loss @B329Leadership

#OUBB329Wk15 Power and resistance on @B329Leadership is interesting because it shows how power relationships are 2-way (leaders dependant on followers for their power). I am inspired by the covert strategies in the Collinson and Ackroyd (2005) continuum to show resistance at work

#Wickedchallenges are complex and have not been solved before. This is important for the #B329LeadershipChallenge because the criteria is choosing a wicked challenge and working collaboratively. As Grint (2008) states wicked problems need a collaborative approach! #OUBB329Wk14

#OUB329Wk9. Leadership can support collaboration through various activities. It was interesting to see which of Goman (2011)'s activities my workplace was enacting; namely avoiding silo mentality and creating a common vision- promotion of customer excellence.

#OUB329Wk9 This week I have learnt that I score lowly on how #collaborative I am. This is important to recognise as collaboration can enable organisations to work more effectively, productively and dynamically.

#OUB329Wk8. This is impacts on my understanding of boundaryless leadership as it consists of the #ability to adapt one's leadership style to meet the needs of #diverse environments which is important when bringing people together. This is necessary in #turbulent times.

#OUB329Wk8. I learnt that situational leadership is the best practice to meet the needs of different staff members. I favour a #supporting leadership style and I don't use a directing style at all. I can recognise how a directing style would be beneficial in my current role.

#OUB329Wk7. I have been inspired to make a #change with the same concept but with the #createdidentity aspect. The idea identity can change because you choose to is a very #positive feeling. Isn't it also interesting that positivity is an aspect of inspiring leadership?

#OUB329Wk7 Learning Identity dimensions has been important because it suggests that our identity comes in part from memories of events and others 'perceptions and inputs, in my case anxiety. I 'identity as anxious because I have memories where I remember this feeling.
