I've given the same advice to other aspiring indie creators in my comments: Have a proof of concept & a game plan way in advance. Prove that you can deliver a finished product b4 committing to hiring. Show concepts. Make stuff, don't just make a server and expect it to pop off

This is a really easy practice to train intuitive perspective. Freehand a Plane rotating. Keep the volume as consistent as you can. You will apply the same skill when rotating cubes and everything else. Vanishing points are just the orientation of an object.
