I have been thinking about #Vanoé's names and, it is destroying me. Noé: Means rest and peace. Also a form of the Hebrew Noah, from the biblical references to the story of Noah's ark. Vanitas: Latin word for Vanity. Associated with emptiness, futility and worthlessness.

This might sound exaggerated, but if you were there at the time, you’ll probably understand; I can’t even begin to count how many people were helped to understand and acknowledge their own queerness (gender and sexual orientation both) and/or to come out, due to Yuri on Ice.
Yuri On Ice is one of the most beloved & groundbreaking anime of all time. The hype while it was airing was unlike anything I've ever seen in fandom. Thank you Sayo, Kubo, & everyone else who put their love into such an amazing series. YOI will live on forever in our hearts! 💖
The fact that we could get this beach scene animated but they had to drop it because they didn't have that much production budget hits harder now.😔 I don't think we'll get the beach OVA atp but it would be an amazing miracle if that would ever happen someday.

Thank you yamamoto sayo for making one of the most important anime of my life. It really felt like Yuri and Victor's story came to me at the right time. I'll continue to hold on to all the good memories that I had with it and all the friends that I made because of it.
