Or Burma. 😂

This is 79 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't understand how Brits ever colonized India

This year instead of a holiday party @gencitizen hosted a couple of Zoom cooking lessons. I was honored to be 1 of the 2 featured “chefs” with recipes for Momofuku soy eggs & grapefruit almond float featuring, respectively. food52.com/blog/27866-mos…

Pani puri, samosa, a giant dosa(!) & mango lassis at Jalsa in Ditmas Park.

Homemade “Spam” at brunch. Asian Americans have claimed Spam in our culinary heritage due to its presence in places like Hawaii & Guam). Other mestizo island cultures have adopted Spam for similar reasons in our shared colonial history. eater.com/2020/5/27/2126…

We are calling for the budget to include the expansion of the set of commercial buildings that are eligible for conversion to residential, the necessary regulatory relief to make them viable, and a tax incentive to include affordable housing in conversions.

2⃣ Make office-to-residential conversions easier—to soak up some of the excess supply of commercial office space in these central parts of NYC while helping to tackle our housing crisis, a win-win.
