streaks are so effective it’s crazy I started using @readwise 100 days ago today and haven’t missed a day since signing up biggest reason has to be the dopamine counter in the corner

ada.cx offers AI powered customer service big clients like IPSY and beehiiv yet they require a contact form to get pricing + don’t offer AI customer service on their own website the audacity

.docx is out & .md is in don’t overcomplicate it

Whisper from @OpenAI came out 9 months ago Voice Cloning from @elevenlabsio has been out for months now Why isn’t someone nobody building a full podcast translator platform yet?? Feels like the most obvious business case cc: @TobyTabi @mehulsharmamat

I just made every mistake you can for my first project. I built it in silence, spent months working on it, and polished it more than any MVP would ever need. BUT I went from no coding experience to full stack web app in 2.5 months. I’ll count that as a big W

Been thinking about this so much lately So many startups/ projects have crazy flashy landing pages. Are any of them crushing it? Feels like it could be just a huge distraction

Something I'd almost aways bet against: flashy + slick landing pages. In my experience, landing pages that Brooklyn-based graphic designers think are cool looking rarely get better conversion or results than ugly, text-based landing pages.

GPT4 startup idea: image recognition to explain memes to boomers Nearly unlimited TAM, low cost to run, high LTV

Over the weekend I added @supabase to the little stretching app I’m building It’s completely overkill, it only holds 10 items, BUT I’m pumped I got it working. Now to figure out auth…

I’m finally starting to learn to code and it’s been so much fun! Tailwind + Next + ChatGPT/ Typing Mind (@tdinh_me) is a cheat code Building a little stretching app to replace my notes app in the morning, let’s gooo🚀

Looks like Google is coming directly at MSFT/ OpenAI: ChatGPT -> Bard Bing AI search -> Google AI search API library -> API library (soon) 2023 is surely the year of AI. #GoogleAI #AI

I’m doing some cold DMs and talking to customers about a product I’m building in hopes to validate my problem BEFORE building a solution (crazy, I know) Huge s/o to @Moimaere for the inspo! You don’t know me but I appreciate you

Does anyone know of a wrapper for GPT3 that lets users use their own API key? I vaguely remember reading about it on a @bentossell newsletter but can’t seem to find it now🤔

I took some time off Twitter recently but I’m back and ready to send it Quick update on what I’ve been up to: - Almost finished MVP for new project - Became obsessed with MidJourney - Completely redid the design of said project using MJ Time to keep building!🚀

This is incredible! They’re not messing around at DoNotPay A smart company doing great work for people who need it. You love to see it 👏

🆕 Prompt injection is entertaining, but harmless! lspace.swyx.io/p/reverse-prom… Presenting the 7 techniques I used to "reverse prompt engineer" the public alpha of Notion AI in 2 hours... and why everyone is **wrong** about the dangers of prompt injection

I love when founders share stuff like this and show how scrappy they were in the beginning This is a fun read and is proof that (a) cold emails can work and (b) being authentic and yourself goes a long way #tweet100

I sold The Hustle's first ads. About $100k worth. Here's the 1st cold email I sent that got a sale. It was Wealthfront. Maybe sent emails to 20 diff brands, 5-8 showed interest. We had 93,535 subscribers. I charged them $26 per 1,000 sends.

I’m wrapping up my 2023 goals and realized I don’t have anything in there for growing on Twitter How does everyone prioritize growing here? Or is that even an important goal for me to have?🤔 #tweet100

I was thinking about this today: Is good copywriting not just writing something that you would enjoy reading yourself? It feels like the best content I’ve produced is content I personally enjoy consuming (ie fun and creative content) #tweet100

I had an epiphany today: me and many others are searching for use cases for AI, but not actually thinking “what’s the problem this solves?” The best AI projects will take an existing problem and solve it, not just make up a use case for a new piece of tech🤔 #tweet100

There’s no better feeling than having a new project/ feature idea that you’re so excited to build that you can’t think of anything else “Builder fever” is what I like to call it! #tweet100 #buildinpublic
