anyone else's child have a @HastingsDirect You Drive policy? We're having a total nightmare with app not working, constantly loading, so no data being collected and then @HastingsDirect threating to cancel the policy. Not helped by daughter being away at uni majority of time.

This is exactly what happens to my team every year. Furniture is needed and it’s needed now! Along with backing paper and sellotape and btw, I’ve got an appointment tomorrow that I need cover for, sorry forgot to mention it in July.
Dear teachers, yes of course you can wait til the first working day after the holidays to ask for new furniture, new noticeboards and a pink sparkly ribbon with jam on top. We just sat around over the summer waiting for you to come back.

OK, so let's unpack this "unfair" SBLpay award thing. The teacher pay award has been announced because there is a due process for teacher pay to be agreed nationally. The STRB makes a recommendation to the DfE where affordability and cost of living are factored in. #SBLtwitter
