Man, Desi Sills was such an underrated part of K-State’s Elite Eight run. Markquis Nowell & Keyontae Johnson deservedly stole the spotlight as one of the nation’s best duos, but the energy and spark from Desi Sills truly was unmatched.
Seems rather comical to argue putridness like this but here we are. And for the record, both programs were respectively and comparably horrendous and Snyder and Leipold each deserve tremendous credit on varying levels. However let’s go beyond a 10-year span for the full story……
KU was comparably horrible, is all I'm saying. KSU had been worse in the 3-year span before Snyder's arrival. KU had been consistently pathetic for almost all of 11 years. And after 3 years, Leipold's slightly ahead of where Snyder was. He almost certainly won't be after 10.
