Still here... Community nursing has been hectic these days. Caseloads are growing and we are all buzzing about in our wee cars, still delivering high quality nursing care to people at home 🏡💕 any other community nurses feeling this at present?? #communitynurse @nhsfife @theRCN

❄ Community Nursing in the snow! ❄ I've loved seeing everyone pull together and work through adverse conditions to get patients seen 💙 #communitynurse #snow #teamwork @nhsfife @WeDistrictNurse

They're trying to tell us that today is Blue Monday.... No its not! None of us need to be hearing that 🙃 Its a regular Monday and its a day closer to all of this being over 💃🥂 Make today a good day... and if anyone is on depressing January diets or dry January stop now 😁

I did some more visits for the community nursing team today. It was lovely, but I really noticed the increased complexity as we try and keep patients safely at home to ease pressure on the hospitals. Well done community nurses, and thanks for your support. #communitynursing

My lovely MIL 2B made these...bag for syringe pumps and hearts to replace the multiple hugs we @Districtnurses would normally give to both those receiving palliative care and their loved ones...to say, we care. Thankyou @pammiemck there are no words @RCNDNForum @nhsfife

Feeling inspired and motivated after a Teams session held by @AngelaHWigham and @deborah_wilson_ about post graduate study towards a career in #healthvisiting. I'm grateful to have chosen a career in nursing where the opportunities are endless 🌈💙 @nhsfife @GemMac_RM_HV_QN

If there is discussion of testing community nurses surely Health Visitors should be tested weekly too? @FionaCMcQueen

@jasonleitch @NicolaSturgeon should community nurses not be tested weekly like care home staff are? We are working between multiple care homes and in and out of pt homes all day.... #covidthoughts #communitynursing @QNI_Scotland @WeDistrictNurse

I was prompted by @JudithGemmell yesterday to consider #infantmentalhealth and today I seen this article... it has definitely me thinking. I'm sad to say, I feel this situation will be one of many. Such devastating impacts this virus has had on all aspects of everyone's lives

Staff saw children returning to nursery in wellies despite the summer heat, complaining of hunger and suffering anxiety from being outside again. huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/how-nurs…
