It's fine for a union to raise the price of their labour. But the current legal framework prevents business from rejecting the prices, firing the employees and hiring replacement workers. You either give unions what they want or shut shop! That's crazy! #CanadaPostStrike
The main reason unions exist is collective bargaining. What they decide is fair for their workers is the fair wage for them. Just like a company decides a fair price they will charge their customers. Why do companies get to raise prices but unions can't? 🤔
