A massive thanks and kudos to every single contribution no matter what size that built WordPress 6.7. Each release matters for a project and the one with a default theme will always have a special place in my heart: wordpress.org/news/2024/11/r…

Something is brewing... compositionproducts.com. I will be building in the open so this is just the start.

The Figma library for WordPress has a new version which rocks: make.wordpress.org/design/2024/11…. It also is a step towards the true design system needed. Figma is a part of the system, but an important piece when updated regularly, so kudos to everyone involved.

First trip for a while I am just travelling with my Fuji instax evo and iPhone not camera, kind of excited to see what this does to my photography. Also should be fun taking film through security.

So cool! This is an awesome product coming from your own need then and there and as a result fulfilling the needs of so many others.

🧵 About five weeks ago, pre wpdrama, I started working on the relaunch of the snicco/fortress site. And... TBH, I hated every minute of it. I'm used to working all day in the IDE, not WordPress. PHPStorm has me spoiled - everything is one key press away, barely using the…

The showcase day was such a highlight at WCUS, it was great to reflect on it. Spoiler we both want to see more showcase days. In this episode, we went walking in conversation around a few topics including possible futures. Next time we're going to be back with more interviews of…

In today's Woo ProductChat, @karmatosed and @sirjonathan reflect on the "Showcase Day" at @WordCampUS and move into thoughts on the future of open source contributions. dothewoo.io/showcase-day-w…

Thank you for this Saxon, you rock and this work shows the care and risks you take in exploring. I’d love to see more exploring like this as the project needs it.

One of the last projects I worked on for WordPress was a functional prototype exploring how the new admin experience could be personalised according to user needs. That includes content modelling built in, settings for frame and content panels, theming and an initial generate…

I love a good experiment - this is super fun! It’s so incredible to see the power of small changes, for example single color backgrounds and reductions. More please as that’s how things get explored 🙌🏻

It's impressive how modern WordPress can look if you remove the Admin Menu and Top Bar. Inspired by the new @shadcn sidebar release, I decided to extend #WordPress to use that new sidebar solution as opposed to the current one. This is WordPress core, just without the old Admin…

I am looking forward to be speaking at Core Days on November 9th in Rome about the 'Anatomy of a WordPress Theme Today': events.wordpress.org/rome/2024/core….

My September WordPress contribution summary post is now up: binatethoughts.com/september-word…. Thank you to the following for sponsorship this month through GitHub sponsors (github.com/karmatosed): @jenswdb, @tnash and @aaronjorbin

Dear anyone commenting on WordPress contribution or sponsorship who hasn't done either yet, please ask someone who has for their perspective and listen - don't presume. Opinions grow when they come from facts, reality. Just ask, and people will answer, then have your opinion.

So cool to see, thank you. It's worth noting, for every one of us in this photo is another committer not there who we represent. Each matters, each is cared about and valued. I value every day I get to commit along side these amazing people and for this space.

The devs who made Contributor Day work.

Thank you to everyone that organised #WCUS. Thank you to every awesome human I had a conversation with and those I got to even just say a quick hi to. To those who kept the booths going, gave the talks, volunteered and sat around the campfires - thank you. Now we all recharge.
