In Iceland there is a tradition called Jolabokaflod - Christmas Book Flood. This is when loved ones present each other with books on Christmas Eve & then read them together. The books should be new & booksellers do most of their trade at this time of year. #BookWormSat #Yule

🌿🤍🌿In Worcestershire it was said to be unlucky if mistletoe was cut at any time except Christmas. A bunch would be kept in the home throughout the year to bring good fortune, and then replaced with a fresh one gathered on Christmas Eve. #FolkloreSunday
