Police are entering the home on Hayes Ave. in Washington where a standoff has taken place since shortly after 6:30 pm.
The father of the 32-year-old washington man who is holed up inside a house on Hayes Ave. said his son won’t return his phone calls, but has texted other people. The man was allegedly leading police on a chase through washington in a stolen vehicle.
The parents of a man inside the home are trying to de-escalate the situation and are asking him to come out. The man’s sister also has asked him to come out.
