After 3 years of drought and what was starting to look like a 4th, the skies opened up in August and haven’t stopped. More rain the last 2 months than the whole of 2019. Update on Bennet wheat sown first week in feb. Pic 1 10/8/20 after grazing Pic 2 10/10/20 filling grain 👍🏼🤞🏼

30mm of rain next to Goyders line. Been a few years between puddles at this time of the year!

#DSbennet enjoying its first real drink. Planted 7th of February after a 35mm rain event. Plenty of patches in the paddock just germinating 😅 tough little plant!

#AskTwitter seeing really high numbers of termites or white ants in fresh furrows. Good or bad? Crows seem to be enjoying them!

Scepter wheat looked promising in a very dry year. Managed to survive the first frost and only lost of few grains. But the one on AFL grand final day ended any potential grain yield. Don’t think the 4mm of rain will help this 😑

#asktwitter does anyone know of any counting apps or software that can analyse an image to count things? In this case counting sheep manually puts me to sleep 🐑🐑🐑🐏😴

Wheat is an amazing plant. 4 tillers are filling grain. 11 tillers are coming through late after the rain that came in August.

#asktwitter Any other CTF blokes that have put a T7 on 3m? Do you keep doing hub seals? Bought this 2nd hand, had 2 cracked hubs replaced now hub seal leaking after approx 200hrs. Dealer told me they have put a few of these on 3m without issue.

8mm of rain yesterday gave us our highest daily rainfall for the year. Giving us 65mm of rain for the year. More than 2 months since it was put in the ground, looks like this sceptre will finally see day light in the next week or so 👍🏼

Dusty Sunday’s. Should have had a few more waters last night....Might have helped settle it 💦🌱

Not a lot of rain but not too much dust. It’s a start 👍🏼 #seeding18
