Had TCP ever actually communicated that the QRT strategy was for “marginal routes”? I have not spoken to one person in the industry who did know this extremely important information. Genuine qn- did anyone here know it?
TCP : Can a business have a structural problem (per CEO) & simultaneously be robust (also per CEO) ? 🙄 Trying to talk that share up again, he still owns a bit … need to get some suckers to buy in again 😂

Extremely pleased that Northam (finally) made an offer for RBP yesterday. But don’t underestimate Impala here- they really need RBP and they’re sitting on a lot of cash. Not unlikely another offer is coming

The market is sleeping on a lot of mid-caps. CLH leverage kicks in VERY quickly and we should see upside from that soon. The family should eventually just take this company private
If I’m being honest, I’m not convinced anyone in the market (incl me) actually understands Discovery as a business.
Walmart taking MSM private means… some M&A to take back market share? Takealot? And probably some retrenchments out of market’s glare too.

France turned off the lights of Eiffel Tower as sign of respect for Queen Elizabeth. Not to be outdone, South Africa switched off almost all of the lights last night.
The number of JSE delistings this year is nothing short of disastrous. Do not underestimate how bad this is for the SA market! (And JSE shareholders!)
