Very depressing. As a researcher who has regulated universities in Kenya and build institutional capacity of African universities, I cannot fathom how low we have sunk. Surely! Must this be allowed to continue?

The story of how Moi University started with humble beginnings on October 1st 1984, with 83 students and three tents as the lecture halls on the lawns of Kaptagat Hotel. And then, instead of celebrating its 40th birthday this year, it collapses.
