I think the Sprint format should be much more left-field, I don’t think a reverse grid is the solution. Give them different spec cars for each sprint - varying on location (NASCAR for COTA?). Doesn’t give away the pace for Sunday and would be really worth watching. #F1Sprint

Watched the first episode of the new Frasier with some trepidation and it’s actually alright - needs to settle down a bit but the supporting cast is good and there were some good lines in there.
Israel launching a full-blown ground war in Gaza will massively increase the already awful civilian death toll. I understand the desire to wipe out Hamas after last week’s wicked terror attacks, but how can killing so many innocent Palestinians in the process be justified?

I've lost count of how many times I've seen engineers build a complicated, woolly house of cards for "shared components", "component libraries", etc., all in the name of a standard look and feel, DRY, and it is almost always a total shit-show
the funniest microservice i ever had the pleasure to work with was the NavBarService in a suite of 3-5 web apps you had to make a separate http call to get the contents on the nav bar. when it was down or timed out, you lost the ability to click "Home"

The new @CodeWeavers Crossover 23.5 with D3DMetal is an amazing performance boost. Playing @EliteDangerous on an M1 Mac at high quality and at native resolution on my Studio Display (5k). More impressive remembering it’s being emulated as well.

Season 2 of #Foundation on #AppleTV was *very* good. I liked the first season but at times I felt it was more for the cast & visuals than the story. This season retained the brilliant cast (with great additions) and production values while really improving the narrative.
Swapped from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to 15 Pro Max and the difference is larger than I expected. It is noticeably lighter, the Titanium feels great (the curved sides add a lot to that as well). The cameras are a significant step up too.
