AGIs should be banned full stop. Landlords should be responsible for making their own properties "sustainable" using the rent they collect. Anything else is greenwashing corporate greed

Wow! Largest year over year rent increases in canada in 30 years
Y/Y rent increases largest in 30 years at 6.5%! High int rates increase interest costs for landlords who try to jack up rent so tenants pay it. Also high int rates make it so people can't move out of rentals as buying too expensive...so rents go through the roof.

In the video, he blames the housing crisis on Trudeau, but then shifts to an analysis of how *city* regulations (“red tape”) are the cause. These regulations, he says, inflate the costs of housing, and his entire plan is to force/encourage cities to remove them. 2/18
