This is how good designs happen. Design is a conversation. Too often UX designers are siloed from developers.

Depends on the project, but yeah 90% is a good estimate. The devs do some of the filling the gaps, and then can work with the designer if needed. Project teams operate together as design+dev unit, so designers don't just throw the design over the fence

"It's autocomplete" is not a helpful analogy to understand LLMs. A LLM is more like a database that lets query information in natural language. You can query both knowledge, and "patterns" (associative programs seen in the training data, that can be applied to new inputs).
