Hearing a lot of: “11-1 Indiana is out” & “12-0 BYU has to win the Big 12 Championship or they’re out” & “Georgia doesn’t have to win this weekend. They should still be in with 3 losses” What are we doing?!?
No one is debating that the SEC has the best depth in the country. I also believe people are saying that the SEC lacks a truly dominate team. LSU has wins over 2 bowl eligible teams but also lost to the Big Ten’s current 14th place team (USC).
Indiana has zero wins over bowl-eligible teams. Alabama has 4. Ole Miss has 3. Texas A&M has 3. Texas has 2. Georgia has 2. South Carolina has 2. Mizzou has 2. LSU has 2. Tennessee has 1.
