Umpire Angel Hernandez was the lowest rated umpire on the day. He missed 21 calls in the #BlueJays #Rockies game and remains the lowest rate umpire this season. He also gifted Danny Jansen a second life on what should've been a strikeout. The next pitch Jansen hit a homer.

This is how Paul DeJong spent his final day as a Cardinal, an organization he has spent nearly nine years with. On the eve of the trade deadline and his future in limbo, he volunteered with the local community. Says all you need to know.

Off-day activities: Paul DeJong and Andrea DeJong, along with Polo Ascencio and Eileen Flaherty, spent the day yesterday cooking and serving meals for the families at @rmhcstl The DeJong’s routinely partner here and made dinner for the families for the second consecutive year

Trent knows what’s up.

Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado will play today, but miss the series in Toronto. And as a reminder, the rules Canada have in place are the same that the United States have in place.

How to effectively deal with the #Astros: • Take back the 2017 WS title • Suspend all players involved 50 games • Strip their individual awards from 2017 • Loss of draft picks for two years • Ineligible for 2020 postseason It's not that fucking hard. Set a damn example.

Not even catastrophes like these seem to bring any political action. How is this possible? Because we still fail to make the connection between the climate crisis and increased extreme weather events and nature disasters like the #AustraliaFires That's what has to change. Now.

The ring of fire around Sydney is as angry and as frightening as we've seen. 20,000 people are tonight in the path of the mega fire rolling down the Blue Mountains into the town of Lithgow. #9News | 9News.com.au
