Frankly baffled by this turn of events. You're extremely good at what you do, and I'm sorry this is happening.
I’ve worked with Joshua in various capacities - editing him, being produced by him, being DMed by him! - and EVERY time he was a complete pro. Passionate, multi-talented, adaptable, and SO dang knowledgeable. He deserves better.
To say I’m devastated after being laid off from my dream job at IGN after 10 years is an understatement. After a decade of pouring my heart & soul into my work, it’s all over in a surprise company reorg. Our union is asking IGN to compromise on a fair and reasonable solution.
Jesse wasn’t just a complete joy to work with in any situation; he’s also one of the most knowledgeable, passionate nerds you’ll ever meet (complimentary!), who always could come up with the smartest and most entertaining angles. He deserves better.
