Today, I am announcing that as president, I will create a bipartisan council of advisors to give feedback on policy and inform my administration. Our democracy needs a healthy two-party system.

the baristas turning up the music every morning so twerps like u don’t monopolize their seating for 12 hours a day just to buy one iced coffee and drink 30 cups of water

Is there a polite way to tell a coffee shop clerk/owner “I and probably others would work remotely from your fine establishment if the music was lower, but I can’t hear myself think, let alone do phone interviews and Zoom calls here”?

When I see landlords replying to tweets like this that "regulating us would actually collapse the whole market!!!" I think about how 19th century child labour was kept legal for ages bc factory owners kept saying All Business would Collapse if they couldn't pay pennies to orphans

The high cost of rent isn’t just bad for renters. Young people are forced to narrow their lives to fit whatever careers earn enough to pay off the landlords. Generations are cut off at the knees, terrified of falling off ladders, because we refuse to regulate landlords.

This is a masterpiece. This is the article/interview I’ve been waiting for. It covers all the bases, doesn’t downplay the seriousness and is eminently shareable with people who are not up-to-speed. ineteconomics.org/perspectives/b…

Cal Poly Humboldt’s occupation is being ignored by most media and organizations, perhaps because its students are primarily working class and employing the most advanced militant tactics we’ve seen in the country. Classes have been canceled the rest of the semester…

Maybe you can ask him about the mass graves

TamaraINassar's tweet image. Maybe you can ask him about the mass graves

How are news outlets dedicating wall-to-wall coverage to campus protests, but not the discovery of mass graves in Gaza of people with their hands tied & clothing stripped? Why do we not know more? Where are the journalists and resources being dedicated to that story?

Please DO NOT sign petitions like this. This goes against The Hague convention. Orphaned children in war still have family members willing to take them. Family tracing should be the number one priority. This raises the risk of human trafficking and will cause more harm than good
