⚠️St Helens Climbers ALERT (thread): People in this photo are standing on 1800' of snow-covered AIR. This spot, just west of Monitor Ridge, is most frequented by climbers. A giant cornice forms every year at summit & can release any time. Do not trust tracks already present!

My best advice for #freelancers: befriend other freelancers in your field. My life/career are infinitely better because I have “colleagues” I can share my wins/losses and frustrations/excitements with! I have a lovely group I text with daily and some of us haven’t even met IRL.

I was just looking at writer's residencies and I found one that includes families. While you write, they provide creative workshops for your kids. There's childcare all day. There are children's beds in the room. There's SUPPORT. What a world. I legit cried.
