Image of #fishweirs in 1887, #BakerBay, mouth of the #ColumbiaRiver #Washington/#Oregon . Inside the bay, some 378 traps were noted in 1892. The traps called "pounds nets" were built for a number of #Salmon species that were fished by #indigenouspeoples for at least 15,000 years.
