Of course! I used the reverse boolean method, where I grab the high poly mesh, make a boolean mesh to boolean a lower poly count mesh. Instead of just using the cleanup tool, I broke it down into square pieces so the triangles would not stretch across the mesh.

It's true. Small details like this actually make a huge difference in believability of an asset. And this is why reference is king. Always refer back to your reference in each stage of the process.

One of the secrets to good 3d modeling is that in real life nothing is perfectly straight. Look at this picture, this is an actual photo. Those buttons are all over the place. Add half a degree to a couple degrees of random rotations to everything. It really helps.
