This.right.here. @Dreamdefenders and other organizations put so much care into planning for the #CantBanUs action and a big part of prep was necessarily planning for and training us all on keeping ourselves and each other safe from assaults like this.

I was there and @stevebousquet is spot on. What appeared to be 100s of police from across law enforcement - including state patrol & 🐠 & wildlife - amassed across the day as we protested peacefully. They didn't show up at the time of arrest. They prepared all day for the moment.
